• Time course study of expression
• Small scale protein purification and QC by SDS-PAGE and western blot analysis

Phase III: Recombinant Protein Purification

• Large Scale growth of best E. coli expressing construct
• Harvesting cells and cell lysis
• Protein purification by affinity tag resins
• Secondary purification on anion exchange resin or by gel filtration (additional charges applies)
• Dialysis and final QC by SDS-PAGE (>85-90% purified protein)
