Mouse Tissue Lysates - Brain Major Regions
Tissue Lysates are Ideal for biomarker and antibody screening/ characterization, protein-protein interaction, protein expression, ligand binding, ELISA, immunoprecipitation, 1D and 2D gel electrophoresis, and Western blotting. We provide the lysates from the following regions of the brain tissues:
Total Brain • Brain-stem • Cerebellum • Cerebral Cortex (Frontal) • Cerebral Cortex (Posterior) • Whole Cerebral Cortex • Hippocampus • Hypothalamus • Medulla Oblongata • Thalamus
Mouse tissues were collected and flash frozen within 5-10 minutes of removal. Tissue total protein lysates are prepared from whole tissue homogenates by homogenization in modified RIP buffer along with protease and phosphatase inhibitor cocktail, and provided at a concentration of 2-5 mg/ml.
The quality of protein is tested by SDS-PAGE with coomassie blue staining of the gel. Proteins from one of gel was transferred to PVDF membrane and tested with beta actin antibody.
