As a registered member you can check the status of any Internet order by logging into your account through the "My Account" link on the top of the pages or click on the Order Status button.

When you place an order you will receive an order confirmation e-mail that will include your order number and tracking number if available. Once you log into your account, you will be able to view your previous order details. For those who do not have account you will be able to view a summary of your orders and if you need more details you need to contact us and request your detail order status.

Besides the fact that we are offering Discounts and Some Items with Free shipping, tracking your order online, online RMA request, and many others benefits for all registered users.

We offer an account registration process for one motive only: to offer you a better shopping experience.

PACKAGING & SHIPPING

Luminous BioSciences ships its products in plastic foam (polystyrene) containers with gel ice packs and recommends that its distributors do the same. Gel ice packs are kept at -20°C for at least 72 hours prior to shipment and the polystyrene boxes are tightly sealed. Tests have shown that products shipped under these conditions will stay at 2°C to 8°C for more than 24 hours. Testing at NEB has shown that there is no difference in activity and stability between enzymes that are shipped with gel ice packs and enzymes shipped on dry ice.

While Luminous BioSciences recommends storage of its enzymes at -20°C, exposure to higher temperatures (4 to 10°C) during shipping does not pose any risk to the enzymes. In fact, during the purification process (up to 3 weeks) enzymes are maintained at these temperatures as they are purified away from protease and other contaminants which might interfere with their stability. Furthermore, each enzyme is shipped in a specific storage buffer which has been optimized for long-term stability.

NEB enzymes are stored in buffered 50% glycerol and remain liquid at temperatures down to -35°C. If these enzymes are shipped at colder temperatures (for example, in the presence of dry ice) the products will freeze. Proteins subjected to repeated freeze/thaw cycles may lose activity.

We have used these shipping conditions for many years that we have been providing DNA restriction and modifying enzymes and related products to the scientific community. If this shipping procedure posed any risk to our products, we would change the procedure immediately.

DELIVERY

Orders received Monday through Thursday by 8:00 PM (EST) are shipped the same day for next business day delivery (within carrier's overnight delivery area)*. Web and FAX orders should be placed by 7:30 PM EST to allow time for processing. After 7:30 PM for guaranteed next day delivery, please phone your order with Customer Service at (855) 677 0686.

Orders placed by 7:30 PM (EST) on Friday will be shipped Sunday for delivery the following Monday (or next business day) nationwide. This service is available for the same cost as our standard shipping service.

Please note: Monday delivery service is not available for products that have storage temperatures other than -20°C or require shipment on dry ice.

Our website is designed for search per item and also by part number. Just click inside the search form and type item name or part number.

If you entered your search criteria inside the search products box, as many products available will show up according the keywords you entered.

Our shipments should leave within 2-5 days after the date of purchase. Some items require a little longer time due to production time.Your order may arrive in multiple shipments. If in any case the item is not in stock, we will contact you and inform you about all the details. Purchasing multiple items will save you freight, if we are able to tape the packages together.

Extremely Heavy weight items will increase the freight charges, since there is no way to save freight. If shipping via Trucking company, we are searching for the most economical freight carrier in order to save you Money. Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico can be shipped via UPS 2nd day or overnight, or via USPS Mail only. Coastline Sales is using UPS, Fedex and USPS for shipping products to its customers. Only USPS can Ship to PO or APO Boxes.

 

Tracking Numbers will typically be emailed at the time of shipping to you. You can also track your order using the order status button at the My Account page. You can view it only when becomes available.

No, if you in any case try to use the item remember that a broken or used item will not be returnable.

Credits and Refunds

For any properly returned products, at our discretion, we may replace the products free of charge, issue a product credit or refund for the product value and shipping charges. No product credit will be available for use if a past due balance is outstanding on the account. Any product credit not used within six (6) months of the date of issue will expire.

On Non defective Items, the buyer will absorb the shipping charges. On defective items Luminous BioSciences will follow the return/exchange rules.

Inspection and Returns

You can return products that are damaged or defective on delivery, or correct any shortages or delivery errors, if you contact Customer Service within 10 days from the day you receive the products. When you contact Customer Service, we will give you instructions on returning the products and on replacements; however, you must return any such products not later than 20 days after you first received them. If you do not contact us within the initial 10-day period, the products will be deemed accepted, but you will not lose any warranty rights. Authorization for all product returns must be approved by Customer Service and a returned material authorization number given to you prior to the return of products. Not all items will be authorized for return, due to temperature and packing requirements. We may require you to sign and deliver a properly completed certificate of decontamination prior to returning any product. Items authorized for return must arrive at our facilities in a state satisfactory for resale to be eligible for product credit.

Please mail us a copy of your order together with your money order. We recommend that you mail us the money order with a tracking number. Please include your address, phone number and email address with your order, so we can confirm receipt of your payment. The money order will cause a 7 day delay until the funds clear the account.

If you have by any mistake ordered the item twice, please e-mail, or call us with all the details. We will refund the payment accordingly.

Notice that if the item was shipped, you have to wait until the item is delivered, and start the RMA - (Return Merchandise Authorization) process and the refund will be made according our Terms Of Sales Policy.

We DO ship outside the USA - ONLY THROUGH FEDEX OR DHL

If you live outside the USA, you should contact our local distributors in your region or you can order directly throgh us but the goods will be sent by FedEx or DHL.  If you have a Freight Forward company in the USA, we can ship your order to them. Please enter your Freight Forward company as your Shipping address and after your order is placed email us to confirm your FF address and your account number with them.

Please allow some extra time for getting the shipment ready to bring it to the Freight forwarder.

FedEx have changed their shipping rates to be based on the size of the carton. The larger the box, the higher the dimensional weight. All of our rates are calculated with the FEDEX Production Server and are 100% correct.

No, you don't. You can add your gift card with any other product. We strogly recomend to generate a different order for it, but you can agregate you giftcard with any product in a same order.

When you create your account, it needs to be activated before you can login to it.

After the registration is finished, 1 email will be send to the email address entered in the registration form.

Activation: This email have a link to activate your account. Click on the link and you will be automatically logged in and sent to your account info.

Some email programs have the junk mail or spam folder where they place emails which these programs do not recognize the sender (in our case info@luminousbio.com).
